the_burnt_one. Just to confuse you, his real name is Ged (with a guh not a juh), he'll think of himself as Ged, and he will never ever ever ever ever tell you that his real name is Ged. So, Ged for me and Therru, and Sparrowhawk to everyone else. See his app for more details. (better, go read A Wizard of Earthsea by Ursula K. LeGuin, which is amazing)

...yes, I now have characters named Hawke and Sparrowhawk. Any bets now on my third character, should I ever make one, also having a bird of prey name? Merlin, maybe? *grin*

Anyway, my goal was to wait and not bring him in until we're finished with the current planet, but I'm on vacation and may get impatient. =) So much philisophical to wax.

Hello hello! I'm Kelly, and I'm bringing in Nathaniel Howe from Dragon Age: Origins Awakening. I've been rp'ing over at a Dragon Age dressing room for a few months now, and got lured over here by

try_winging_it. This is my first time playing in a panfandom game, so I'm a little nervous, but I've been assured that if I make an idiot out of myself, no one will hold it against me.

1:So just to clarify, as we'll be on Geldeheim for a couple weeks of IC time (parallel to RL time), logs both on and off planet are open. There's regular shuttle service to and from the station.

2: Since we're creating a new holiday for the Geldeheimians, we may not want to play out all the planning and arguing that goes along with it. If you like, use this post to plot out what your character would suggest, your ideas for the holiday, etc. The staff of Freedom Deliverer Robin will be filming a live holiday special once the holiday traditions are established, which will be broadcast planetwide.

You do not have to participate in this thread to have your character be part of it.

Well, clearly I'm back from hiatus, given how busy I've been. Hi all. =)

Something I should have done a while ago: if you're willing, stop by this post and let me/Hawke's dog know what your character might smell like (i.e. Zevran's usually wearing leather so that's pretty prevalent for him), or if they're not human/have any supernatural abilities let me know what they are (in general) so I can figure out if Teo would be able to smell something unusual (he can smell magic-users, for example; magic has its own scent). More for comedy reasons and so he can come up with goofy nicknames for people he meets than for serious play, though it might come in useful someday! Many thanks. =)

On the plus side, you now have the Prince of Hope on your side. Feeling hopeful yet? No? That is perhaps because you also realise that the Prince of Hope happens to be a hipster fishtroll tool with a genocide complex.

...Yeah, I wouldn't feel very hopeful either.

Hedge here. Bringing in my fourth character. This time i'm breaking the mold. Doing something wild. This time i'm not bringing in a character from an obscure, tl;dr scifi novel. No, i'm bringing in a character from an obscure, tl;dr fantasy novel. Meet Therru (true name: Tehanu), a shy girl with severe burn scars from the world of Earthsea. [Spoilers:] She's also a dragon person, able to transform into one when she gets the knack of it. She has all the classic symptoms of PTSD so treat her gently. Or don't, if your character's a dick.

Also I forgot to mention, I put up a friendslocked AIM/plurk contact post here.

Edit: Also parts of her past could be very triggering. I have an HMD/opt out post for that and spoilers here.

She'll be introed on Geldeheim, where she ends up in exactly the wrong place. Anyone magically inclined wanna help rescue her?

Couple things:

1: Holiday plot? I'm thinking of having us return to Geldheim. For those who weren't here for that, we embarked on a mission that involved robbing a toy store and having to disguise ourselves as santas to assassinate loyalist politicians. Our second trip there would be a little cheerier, involving having to engineer a new holiday from scratch. We'd also visit the consequences of what happened there last year.

We could also have a smaller mini holiday plot before that on the station.

Open to ideas.

2: I completely derped on this and forgot. Do any hacker characters want to try to track Todd?

3: I'm thinking it's time to have a fourth character again. I'm definitely thinking about a magical character (as none of my current characters are), possibly from Earthsea. I'm open to suggestions though, and if you're looking for castmates for a character, if I know the series, i'll definitely consider apping you one.
