C-chat told me to.
Okay so.
TV Tropes Meme.
(or Mike's incredible failure of one)
WHAT HAPPENS:
1) You post your character(s) here. And if you feel like it, some of the tropes that apply to them.
2) Other people will comment to your post stating tropes they feel apply to your character(s). (or also apply, if you listed any yourself.)
3) Discuss. (or not.)
4) And maybe learn something about some of the characters you've been playing with. (or not.)
5) And TRY not to get sucked in. (futile futile fu~tile~.)
6) I'm just adding extra steps so we have more than three steps to this thing.

Gauron | Full Metal Panic!
Almighty Janitor (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/AlmightyJanitor): He only does responsibility on his own terms, he hates politics, and he prefers to remain nominally low-ranked (despite his unparalleled capacity to get shit done when I actually have the time to play him orz) so as to avoid inconvenient levels of attention. He does this in his canon too - he's rich enough to buy himself an African nation to retire to as dictator-for-life, but he really prefers being out there in the trenches.
Chaotic Evil (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ChaoticEvil): Though his actions come off as more Neutral Evil, at heart, he's really this - even though he's nominally an agent of the Fay'lians working to destroy the revolution, he's actually going to be using the revolution to fuck with the Fay'lians and vice versa.
Depraved Bisexual (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/DepravedBisexual)/Memetic Molester (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/MemeticMolester): He's primarily child-soldier-sexual, but he'll raep anything once. See also Nightmare Fetishist. (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/NightmareFetishist)
Irony (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/Irony): He is made of it - hence this being his main journal. :P
Interplay of Sex and Violence (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/InterplayOfSexAndViolence)
Nietzsche Wannabe (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/NietzscheWannabe): His nihilism is the gleefully insane kind, though, not the emo kind. Also why he believes that justice is a petty platitude and self-justification is a sign of cowardice.
Psycho For Hire (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/PsychoForHire): Like I mentioned, his favorite place to be on the battlefield is down in the trenches, slitting throats - he'll do crazy, seemingly suicidal shit and enjoy it. Also, on this, the first mission where the Fay'lians have really let him off his leash, he is promptly backstabbing them, though with a lot more subtlety than he usually uses.
Smug Snake (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/SmugSnake): His contempt for the Fay'lians is matched only by his contempt for the revolution, which is why he's using them both to fuck with each other. He also believes that his nihilistic and amoral personal philosophy is 100% objectively correct, and he isn't afraid to be a dick about it when the situation calls for it. Unlike most Smug Snakes, he doesn't actually care that much if his plans fail, though - he'll just extract himself from the situation and live to fuck with people another day. And if he doesn't? Well, he's lived a lot longer and done a lot more than he ever thought he was going to - at this point, everything is just gravy.
The Unfettered (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/TheUnfettered): The only things that come close to mattering to Gauron are freedom and truth - not like that "American way" sparkly idealism, but as ugly, harsh, and inescapable realities that he's either going to make you embrace or break you with. Though, he's going to be more subtle about that in the game than he was in canon.
Re: Gauron | Full Metal Panic!
no subject
he hasn't pulled it in game yetwait no, he survived terminal cancer thanks to the medical improvements the Fay'lians granted him access to, and he's probably had one or two more while he was working for them.
