Alright a few weeks have passed since the Bhor/Planck stop ended, and it's about time to decide on the next event/stop/whatever.
A couple ideas that we've been batting around the past couple days:
1: Crew lands on a planet that's mostly walled off city-states due to zombies outside on the largest continent. Turns out the zombies are actually representations of the rage of a slaughtered population. The highlight of the city's entertainment is an endurance footrace across the zombie country, armed only with a foam bat. Some of the characters go on the footrace. The ones who stayed in the city have to convince the populace to reconcile with their past and make some kind of gesture of apology to placate the dead. Could be a fun deconstruction but also could get way crass if we handled it wrong
2: Another zombie idea, characters arrive in the midst of a zombie apocalypse and take on refugees from the planet. Then the Fay'lia arrive suddenly too, solve the zombie problem almost immediately and then the crew has to deal with these hundreds of refugees on board who are now pissed off because they're all criminals now. They have to find a new home for them somehow.
3: (small sized plot) The crew meets a space version of the Westboro Baptist Church and has to decide wether having them as a somewhat powerful ally is worth them being hate filled pissants all over the station.
4: (small sized plot) Sandoval does some kind of sexual act in a place with sensitive electronics and causes a large portion of the station to just...fall. off.
5: (small plot) Alchemy array breaks and crew's only way to feed themselves is an alien who tags along by the station, selling them shitty food at high prices. Crew must figure out a way to become self sufficient in food.
6: (small sized plot) Crew captures a Fay'lia and has to make the moral choice wether to torture him/her for information.
7: (ongoing small plot) The Fay'lia are producing a moe-moe magical girl series that is effective propaganda for the empire. The crew has to get together and produce a counter-series that glorifies the resistance.
Keep in mind that small plots can be combined/go on simalteneously.
We definitely want to hear your suggestions here too! If you have an idea, write it down here.

2: Interesting, but isn't it likely to lag? Who's play the NPC horde?
3: Again interesting, but maybe too foregone a conclusion? Bonus point for "God Hates Cyborgs" angst, though.
4: lol
5: Interesting— I like it!
6: This one is excellent too. And much more up-in-the-air, morally
7: oh my god. are you drunk? you're drunk aren't you. I love you when you're drunk.

Pretty much echoing Mica on #2 and #3,
Four... needs to happen. It just does. Maybe in tandem with #5, which should also totally happen, for optimum OH SWEET CRISPY BABY JESUS WAT DO.
Six could lead to a lot of very good moral debates amongst the characters, which seems like a good idea given the political nature of this game. It also feels like a good way to get everyone to meet everyone else on board, because it could be like calling together everyone before a decision is made? idk.
Seven... ...yeah echoing Mica again, are you drunk? Though it's a pretty damn comical idea, I won't lie.
Otherwise I have... pretty much nothing to add, if I come up with something I'll let you guys know. Hiccup will probably want to be involved in most of the plots because he's a bit of a go-getter when he can be. :> So yes.

As for plots. What about if the next world that we went to existed solely in a 64-bit video game style? Everyone would suddenly have a start menu in the lower left corner of their vision, and they'd have like menus of special moves and such to use. Anything confrontational would end up being turn-based, and stuff would work much in the same way FF1 did, but with better graphics. The Fay'lia might have decided this place would not follow them well enough, or they might have refused, so they set like a virus in the world-system, and we might have to find ways to fend it off to gein their loyalty? Think dot hack data-bug style.

As for Fran, if we come across zombies, she would most likely try and dismember them for study and spare organs. For # 5, I could see her trying to create some kind of hybrid food animal out of the various beasts in the natural habitats, then watching as it goes on a rampage.
And finally, for number 6 it would be a good chance to show off Fran's rather odd moral code, that being she totally believes in prolonging life no matter what the case.

I'm not particularly willing to participate in any of the first three, and number four wouldn't really involve Mirys at all. The remaining three, though, I might be able to join in on, particularly 5 or 6. 7 could turn out completely embarrassing for her depending on how it plays out.

4. SO. MUCH. LINEFACE. Particularly if Nitori had to go get it for whatever reason.
6. I like this idea.
7. This is terrible. Also amazing. IT'S BOTH.
