So someone left the lid off overnight and now Cat Planet is stale. Here are the options, upon which you guys should vote.
1. Fay'lia though the craft might be, it's still an illegal operation. The ones that are there are a rogue unit trying to garner favour with the Hierophant by getting him the mineral the cats were mining as a gift. The KGB of Fay'lia rolls in and is like "HEY YOU GUYS STOP IT. And you rebels, technically you are witnesses to this having been illegal and going on, so we'll probably need you to come testify in grand court or whatever it is we do." The cats are saved for now, the end.
2. The Fay'lia win. Seeing an uprising as imminent, they kill the prime minister cat, and then erase life off the planet and tow it back to an area where they can enslave a different race to mine it. The Resistance has to get the hell out of Dodge before they are eradicated as well. The end.
3. The ending that was planned happens a LOT sooner, and the Fay'lia find out that if you use the mineral without refining it (like they did with the power generator), it has its own flavour of reality-warping, generally in the form of casting an AOE pulse of Polymorph into Pile of Blood and Bones. The bits of it that they have brought up to the main craft in space somehow get hyperactivated and turn everyone therein into an organ-pile shortly after the ones on the planet surface find out about its ill effects. The cats stay alive and everyone lives happily, since the Fay'lia will learn not to come fuck with a planet that melts their dudes. Everyone wins. This one requires a HUGE amount of the GM fudging his rolls, so to speak. The end.
4. THE WHOLE PLANET WAS A DREAM, Link's Awakening-style, except Mr. Cat was real and comes back with you. I dunno, fuck.
5. [Insert your idea here]
