(no subject)

For the next event, unless there's another idea people want to pursue, we'll be heading back to Bhor and Planck, not just to acquire raw materials but to meet a Fay'lia sympathizer to the Resistance and his band of merry hipsters. There'll also be a rather large party and opportunities to do dirty work at it, as well as opportunities to earn some money fighting and doing other less savory things for money.

We're also thinking of having the station acquire another vehicle capable of traveling faster than light, so multiple missions can be run at once. We'd like it to be relatively small and if possible run on a somewhat rare substance. Got any ideas? Let us know. Running an RPG of this scale is already a big job and we appreciate any world (or in this case, shuttle) building help we can get.

Oh, I can't wait to send the prim and proper Nathaniel down to Planck! This should be fun! *evil grin*

Oh. Oh. Oh, this will be fun. *cackles*

BTW, Nathaniel and Ged should meet sometime. Perhaps on Planck, even!

You rang? XD

If it means underhandedness and a chance for profit, Isabela is SO in.

[personal profile] noble_nate 2012-02-06 04:55 am (UTC)(link)
Underhandedness and profit are a given if Nathaniel and Hawke are involved! Not to mention the fact that I'm an evil mun and want to break Nathaniel's brain by having him go to the pseudo-religious whorehouse.

[personal profile] questionablewit 2012-02-06 04:22 pm (UTC)(link)
I so want to watch this. We need a pretext to get in there.

And then rescue all the whores.
noble_nate: (oh really?)

[personal profile] noble_nate 2012-02-06 04:43 pm (UTC)(link)
Ahaha, rescue the whores! This needs to happen, though I have no idea why they'd be there in the first place.

It's Hawke. She'll find a reason. Someone left a scarf there, and it was a gift from his wife, and it's VITALLY IMPORTANT he get it back and he'll pay her lots to go and retrieve it before his wife founds out he lost it.

The sad thing is that sounds plausible, for a DA sidequest.

Well, the Paragon's Toe quest requires you to retrieve the title object from the Blooming Rose.

And Isabela insists on helping out the whores. It's her form of public service. XD

Helping out in what sense, dear? ;)

Any and every! Job satisfaction, enough money to feed their families, pleasure in life... All very important to their well-being!

Sadly, it does. The Champion of Kirkwall never rests, not even in space!

Providing shuttles is beyond me but I'm happy to provide NPCs anywhere, if that'll help. I love inventing NPCs. We haven't seen the last of Bill and Ted the overenthusiastic cargo bay guys.

And oh lord, Planck. Someone restrain Anders, lest that one AU become prophetic. Hawke on the other hand is going "Oooh, chances to fight for money? BRING IT. Sheeana, Isabela, what say we form a three-woman team to take on all comers?"

'Bela is sharpening her blades as we speak. XD You know she has at least a minimum of three, after all.
questionablewit: (skeptical)

[personal profile] questionablewit 2012-02-06 04:23 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh well, if it's a minimum of three, we should get Bethany in on the action as well. Four beautiful brunettes kicking ass should certainly equal profit.

It would be epic! And exciting. But mostly, yeah, PROFIT.

I want to meet this guy on Planck.

(I'm also happy to assist with NPCing if need be. Though I still think it might work best to give players the info and have them write their own NPCs into threads.)

Yes, high fashion Nords. This has to happen.

I don't mind running NPCs.

Also, I need some less savory characters, clearly.

As for the shuttle, there's always the standard anti-matter or other weird things that have to be made in bulk and are probably too dangerous to store in large quantities.

Or something really goofy like the power of love or 'it's powered by a sex drive... no, really, it's an engine that runs on sex'. But that probably doesn't qualify as rare...

(I think the last proves my sense of humor is a bit off.)

Perhaps an inquisitorial no-ship (yes they stole it from dune) which requires a minimal crew, but needs an astropath and a navigator in order to keep it going. The rare element could be the constantly-dying astropaths and navigators as the warp eats their soul.

A clarification: I'm happy to do actual NPC-running, setting development, limited small plots, or be given information and use it in my character tags, either way. I'm just crap at schematics, so don't ask for those.

I request that there should be an NPC kraken on Planck.

Oh god. I really, really want to see a Lucid Technology ship that runs on some kind of dreamstuff.
