I shall have to bother you later about Utena -- I'm rewatching it now with our anime club and realizing how much the original last arc passed over my head*. So not much of intelligent conversations here.

* This may be because on my first watch-through, we watched most of it in one sitting, and by the time it ended, it was rather late at night. And afterward (and kind of during), there was an argument about whether Anthy was a sympathetic character or not.

Sheeana -
She shared with Odrade before Odrade departed for Buzzell, but it was Murbella who shared with Odrade the second time (at Odrade's death). At the time of the Odrade-Sheeana sharing, Odrade hadn't yet made up her mind as to who should be her successor as Mother Superior. It's in Odrade's later narration that this sharing, along with that -terrible plaz sculpture-, tilts the balance toward Murbella and away from Sheeana as preferred successor. My question is: Does Sheeana know that Odrade made this choice? Since she didn't share with Odrade after the decision was made, the argument could be made that she doesn't know. But since she has Odrade in Inner Memory, the argument could be made that simply consulting that Odrade should give her a good idea what Odrade would've been likely to decide.

Sah'ot -
Has he ever met a dolphin he found attractive? If there were a Little Mermaid scenario where he could choose to be human, would he take it?

Akakias -
Can you envision a scenario in which she progresses past the personality that the Sacred Band has forced her into developing?

1: She doesn't know for purposes of gameplay because I like making her terrified of being roped into becoming the next Mother Superior.

2: He almost undoubtedly has. His thing for human women is more of a twisted Oedipus-complex due to the fact of having so many around him at all times growing up petting and loving on him and also a symptom of him being a bit of an Uncle Tom. He might act like he'd want to become human, but he likes being a dolphin really and he'd probably freeze up if a human girl ever responded to his advances.

3: She's slowly discovering that right now, figuring out who she really is under all that conditioning.
