Holidays are supposed to make people happy, right? Well, holidays for you sucked. You didn't get to see your family or maybe you have no family at all. If you're a villain, maybe another year has gone by and you still haven't taken over the world. If you're a hero, maybe you're a B-lister who still doesn't have his own action figure. Last night you felt incredibly lonely and pathetic and sad, so you hit the bar. Hard.

Well honey, the bar hit back. You wake up in a cheap motel bed and you're not alone.

[she infiltrates a little closer to Minako and plays with her bangs]

[laughs as she slowly wakes up a little more] hey that tickles!

[the laugh prompts an empathic giggle from Tess]

[Minako is starting to wake up and pauses. Wait since when did Artemis giggle?] Wah...?

[yeah she's totally with it in the morning]

[Tess gently rubs one of Minako's shoulders]

[a sleepy Minako peers over. Oh it's just some strange girl in her bed, no worries.]

OMG WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY BED?! [grabs the blankets, suddenly awake and freaked out]

[she tries to snuggle closer in a way that might make that lack of clothes more obvious, for both her and Minako]

NO! [she's bright red and clinging the sheets close]

What happened?!

We, y'know. [she wiggles in place a little] It was fun once ya got too busy ta be embarrassed... Now stop actin' like a porcupine in February. [she keeps trying to snuggle closer]

[Minako yelps and bolts out of bed, clutching the blanket around her, laughing nervously] I'm flattered, really but I'm not really interested though you really seem like a nice person! [awkward...]

[Tess sits up, nude and not at all concerned about that]

That's not what you were sayin' last night, hon...

[Minako yelps and covers her eyes] I don't know what I was saying last night but it's not applicable this morning!

[something about Minako's reaction provokes a sharp giggle from Tess]

This is a serious situation! [Minako is bright red by now]

Watcha mean?

[Tess slides completely from the covers to streeetch]

Well, how come I don't remember what happened last night?! [peeks from out from under her hands, turns redder and covered her eyes again]

Oh... well, ya were drinkin'... a lot... [Tess has the odd innocence to alcohol that comes from having a biologically enhanced super-liver]

I was? I'm too young to drink!

You are? [gogogo cultural conflicts]

I'm only a high school girl! [sob!]

Oh, hon, yer bein' like a longtail cattina rooma rockin' chairs. Why don'tcha sit down'n take a mo' to relax. [she takes a seat on the edge of the bed herself]

[long stare. blink. yeah that went way over the poor girl's head and she slowly backs away] haha yeah I'm going to...find my clothes....

[as it happens, they're scattered all over. there may not even be a complete set in the room]

[Tess takes the opportunity to stretch again some, daily-exercise style]

[trying not to look while looking for her clothes, getting flustered when she notices her shirt isn't around]
