Hello hello! I'm Kelly, and I'm bringing in Nathaniel Howe from Dragon Age: Origins Awakening. I've been rp'ing over at a Dragon Age dressing room for a few months now, and got lured over here by try_winging_it. This is my first time playing in a panfandom game, so I'm a little nervous, but I've been assured that if I make an idiot out of myself, no one will hold it against me.

I'll be setting up an intro post soon, and look forward to threading with y'all!

Who else went to the Deep Roads on that quest, in your playthrough? (And was it Act 3?)

That quest can only happen in act three can't it? Though I don't mind shifting the timeline for Nate-mun's sake. And huh, who would it have been...almost certainly Varric, and then either Aveline or Fenris as the fourth. Let's say Fenris, Hawke didn't want to risk Aveline in the Deep Roads when she was newly/happily married.

I don't mind shifting the timeline either. It affects Anders' attitude and fashion choices, is the main reason I ask. ;)

Nate-mun, what say you? Should we backthread something? I don't mind being a Fenris but I can't be a Varric, I haven't got the quick wit needed.

Hm, I've always done it before the Justice quest anyway. But regardless how about we put it somewhere in that nebulous area between two and three, so Hawke and Anders are involved, but Anders hasn't gone goth. Hawke probably still needs to be Champion, though.

I can be a Varric. =) Not a great one, but then, who can live up to the master? Heck, I can even bring out my Varric for the thread so he has his own login.

Ugh, I haven't played DA2 in ages so I always forget what's in which act! Good thing it only affects the three of us or I'd be lamenting the fact that I'm already goofing things up ;D

Between Act 2 & 3 is fine with me, it doesn't matter a whole lot to me, really, since he does so little in DA2. And yes, backthreading would be fantastic! Just point me in the right direction.

Haven't done the Nate quest successfully (darn you, glitchy quest) since Legacy came out, so no. And let's keep that a no; pre-Legacy, pre-Chateau Heine, pre-Justice.

I've been working through Legacy and it seems like no one in their right mind would ever take Anders into the Deep Roads ever again after that one, so this works for me, certainly.

Also! I hope the possible backstory outside-game-RP won't hold up Nate-mun from introing to Ent or any of that good stuff? Please do not be held back on my account, at any rate! All the important things you need to know about Anders from the DA2 rescue quest are: (1) he's not dead; (2) he's living in Kirkwall and working with Hawke. Justice never surfaces in the Nathaniel quest, so it doesn't have to have come up, unless someone would have told Nathaniel who isn't Anders. (Bethany?)
