plot details: Drosselmeyer's machine
Some details on the thing Enitan and the Fay'lia want captured. The machine they're looking for was originally created by Drosselmeyer, the central antagonist of Princess Tutu, as a way to bring stories to life. Duck and Mr. Cat, as inhabitants of the town it's in, were caught in its effect and found themselves acting out the stories recorded in the machine. Being broken up into chunks, the machine is less powerful than in canon but still dangerous. Coming too close to an activated portion, one will find themselves in a world (read: miniature dimension) of huge spinning cogs, with larger cogs providing windows into different stories. From far away, however, a person under its influence appears to simply be hallucinating.
