Unfortunately, Ba'al chooses this moment to swim back up through unconsciousness and into the waking world. For a moment he lays there with his eyes closed, wondering which of his particular fantasy women he'll wake up to.

Osiris is not one of Ba'al's fantasies. Not by a long shot.

That is why Ba'al falls off the bed trying to get free of his blankets when he sees it's Osiris who's been touching him.
